About NFC
NFC(Near Field Communication), also known as short-distance wireless communication, is a short-range high frequency wireless communication technology, which allows contactless electronic devices point-to-point data transfer(at distances up to about 10 centimetres) to exchange information.
This technology has been developed using contactless radio frequency identification(RFID) and is backward compatible.
Application of NFC Labels
- NFC tags use RFID technology and operate within the 13.56MHz frequency, communicating between phones and media content;
- The tag can carry more data than regular barcodes, URLS or QR codes. They are very secure and can be password protected or tracked to a specific person or account;
- NFC tags are a useful tool for brand owners, retailers, small businesses, telecom operators, game makers, transport companies, museums, venue owners, and entertainment providers.
Applicable crafts:
- CMYK colour, pantone colour, on a single or both sides;
- Sequential number or personalised serial number;
- Bar coding with or without human readable characters.
Contaclerss chips:
HF chips(13.56MHz): Ntag213, Ntag215, Ntag216, FM11RF08, Mifare1 S50, Mifare1 S70, Mifare Ultralight, Ultralight C, I-CODE2, TI2048, SRI512, etc..
